Rebecca Dunn joined Clark & Elbing in 2008. Her work involves patent prosecution and opinion analyses in the biological sciences.

Rebecca has experience in a broad range of research methods, including classical genetics, cell and molecular biology, biochemistry and enzymology, and embryonic stem cell culture. In her doctoral studies, Rebecca characterized non-canonical functions of the protein modifier ubiquitin and ubiquitin ligases in membrane transport. As a post-doctoral fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, Rebecca studied the role of ubiquitin as an epigenetic regulator of gene expression. Rebecca has written several research and review articles, including articles published in the Journal of Cell Biology, the Journal of Biological Chemistry, and Molecular Cell.
