MICHAEL A. ROBINSON, PHD

Michael Robinson has been at Clark & Elbing since 2005. His work involves patent prosecution, primarily in the fields of molecular biology and chemistry. Michael works with clients to protect innovations related to medical devices; molecular diagnostics; drug discovery; disease treatments; and small molecule therapeutics. He also assists in the preparation of patentability and non-infringement opinions.

Michael’s doctoral research employed nuclear magnetic resonance to study the structure and function of proteins involved in nuclear transport. This research bridged the fields of molecular biology, biochemistry, and physics. His research has been published in The EMBO Journal, Virology, Structure, and the Journal of Biological Chemistry.
