vCardYocelyn is a molecular biologist who leverages her experience to assist clients with patent drafting and prosecution in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors.
Yocelyn completed her graduate research at Columbia University as a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow, where she developed molecular tools to understand splicing regulation in disease-relevant genes. She received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Research for her doctoral work.
She has authored and co-authored scientific articles in Cell Genomics, Nature, Nature Communications, Nature Neuroscience, PLoS Genetics, PLoS One, and PNAS, and is also a co-inventor on patents arising from her graduate research.
