Lindsey uses her diverse background in chemistry and biochemistry for the drafting and prosecution of patent applications.
In graduate school, Lindsey studied an array of different metals containing enzymes of interest for their roles in reducing CO2 or generating novel antibiotics/antifungals. For example, Lindsey studied these enzymes using numerous biophysical and biochemical techniques to characterize the flow of electrons between the metal centers with the enzymes to better understand how these enzymes are able to perform their various chemistries.
Lindsey is the first author of original research articles appearing in the peer-reviewed journals Biochemistry and The Journal of Biological Inorganic Chemistry. Additionally, she has co-authored original research and review articles appearing in Biochemistry and Methods in Enzymology.
